DESCRIPTION:Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center (BBTCAC)                     \nSeptember 13: Annual Patchwork Festival Center of Quilt Filled Weekend \nCamden\, Alabama– Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center (BBTCAC) will host its annual Patchwork Festival on Saturday\, September 13th\, from 10am to 3pm\, in conjunction with Wilcox ArtWorks’ 2nd Annual Patchwork Quilt Walk\, and more (additional events to be announced soon). \nThroughout the day\, demonstrations will be given by Black Belt area quilters\, fiber artists\, potters\, painters\, and other talented artist and craftsmen. BBTCAC artists and volunteers will be hosting one of the most popular features of the day – quilt inspired art activities for youth of all ages. \nActivities and demonstrations by artists will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 3:00 p.m. at BBTCAC located at 209 Claiborne Street in historic downtown Camden. Delicious lunches will be available onsite through Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce. The 2014 Patchwork Festival is made possible by the generous support of Alabama Tombigbee Regional Commission\, the Alabama State Council on the Arts\, the Black Belt Community Foundation\, the Daniel Foundation of Alabama\, and contributions from members of the Black Belt Treasures Guild. \nWilcox ArtWorks and BBTCAC are coordinating the 2nd Annual Patchwork Quilt Walk. Historic and Contemporary Quilts will be on display at various churches and businesses around Camden. Tickets are available through any Wilcox ArtWorks member or at BBTCAC. All Tours will begin at BBTCAC.
