SUMMARY:Conservation & Clean Up Day - Roland Cooper St Park
DESCRIPTION:The Alabama Bass Trail in cooperation with the Alabama Student Angler Bass Fishing Association\, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers\, the Alabama Department of Conservation and Freshwater Fisheries\, and the Wilcox County Chamber of Commerce will host a Conservation and Clean-up Day at Roland Cooper State Park March 2\, 2013. This will be the first of eleven conservation projects slated for the 2013 fishing season.  \nFrom 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.\, student anglers and volunteers will work to clear the boat ramp of water hyacinth and debris that is plaguing fishermen and boating enthusiasts from using the State Park’s boat ramp and to conduct a shoreline cleanup and a cleanup and painting in the campground.
