SUMMARY:Pine Hill Depot Day
DESCRIPTION:Pine Hill’s annual Depot Day  at the Depot Museum. Originally built in 1905 at a cost of $2089\, the depot was the center of activity in Pine Hill as businesses and travel was dependent on the railroad. The depot served us well until 1989\, when it was no longer in use and Norfolk Southern made the depot and a caboose available to the Town of Pine Hill. In 1989\, the depot and caboose were moved to their present location\, and in 1997\, the Town of Pine Hill received an ISTEA Grant administered by the Alabama Dept. of Transportation in $105\,000 for the renovation\, which was completed in 1999. \nEntertainment by Local Artists\, Bake Sale\, Arts & Crafts\, Children’s Activities\, Door Prizes\nVisit the Historic Depot Museum\, Antiques & Classic Cars\, BBQ by Pine Hill Volunteer Fire Dept.\, Food Vendors and Much More!
