DESCRIPTION:Weigh-in station will be at Roland Cooper State Park pavilion. 50 tags were issued and the tag holders can hunt from Jones Bluff Lock & Dam in Dallas county south through all of Wilcox County to Hwy 84 bridge in Monroe County. \nHunting Hours: From 8:00 p.m. August 11\, 2016 until 6:00 a.m. August 14\, 2016 and from 8:00 p.m. August 18\, 2016 until 6:00 a.m. August 21\, 2016. \nThe public is invited to come out for the weigh-ins. DESCRIPTION:Kevin Jones\, ADCNR – State Park Division Marketing Specialist in conjunction with Roland Cooper State Park and Wildlife & Freshwater announce the 1st Annual West Central Alabama Gator Hunt Liars Contest. Joe Dunn owner of Dunn’s Sports has volunteered to prepare a big pot of Gumbo and donate a $100 toward the prize money. The Event will be held from the Roland Cooper Pavilion from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday August 21st. \nThe contest will be open to anyone who thinks they can tell a convincing lie to a panel of 3 judges. The contest will be limited to 10 liars that will have 5 minutes to tell there lie. Each contestant will be judged on Technique\, Presentation\, Originality & Audience Response.
