Each year we host the event as a way to attract tourists to Downtown Camden and provide entertainment for all. This year the event will be held April 26 from 5-9pm\, and April 27\, 2019 from 9am-2pm in Downtown Camden\, Alabama. On Saturday morning\, beginning at 9:00am\, the streets of Camden will come alive with a street festival\, BBQ Cook-off competition and entertainment provided by a variety of musicians performing a variety of genre! Along with the BBQ Cook Off\, Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center will be hosting their annual “Hog Wild for Art” Festival\, complete with games\, hands-on art activities\, demonstrating artists\, face painting\, and more. A new addition to this year’s events is an Antique Car Show\, and Wilcox ArtWorks’s Juried Art Show. Each year we host the event as a way to attract tourists to Downtown Camden and provide entertainment for all. This year the event will be held April 21\, 2018 beginning at 9am Saturday in Downtown Camden\, Alabama. On Saturday morning beginning at 9:00am the streets of Camden will come alive with a street festival\, BBQ Cook-off competition and also\, this year—Entertainment for this day will be provided by local musicians who will be performing ranging from every genre! Along with the BBQ Cook-Off\, TCNB will be hosting their annual “Run for A Cure” and “Fun Run. Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center will also be hosting their annual “Hog Wild for Art” Festival. Downtown Camden will be full of exciting things! DESCRIPTION:Cancer has touched each and every one of us. This cause is very dear to our hearts at TCNB. Every step we take will help the American Cancer Society save lives. Please join in our battle to fight this terrible disease. All proceeds will be donated to Relay for Life. \nRUN FOR A CURE RACE OPTIONS \n1) Our main event is the 5K (3.1 miles). This race is open to all age groups. The pace is entirely up to the participant. We welcome competitive runners\, walkers\, strollers\, etc.… This race does not include the color bombs. T-shirts are included in the race entry fee of $25.00 but are only guaranteed to participants signed up by March 23rd. Late registration will begin March 24th. Late registration is $30 and the shirt is not guaranteed. This race will begin promptly at 9am. You will need to arrive and sign in no later than 8:30am. Awards (1st-3rd) will be given out in each division. \n2) Our 2nd event is the 1-Mile Rainbow Fun Run. This race is open to all age groups. This race INCLUDES color bombs. T-shirts are included in the race entry fee of $20.00 but are only guaranteed to participants signed up by March 23rd. Again\, late registration will begin March 24th. DESCRIPTION:Coming up in Camden on February 23rd\, 24th\, & 25th. AHA had their meet in Camden last year and it was such a success they are coming back and have invited the NAFA to join them at this years meet. Local AHA members and active falconers\, Michael Moore and John Brunson are the go to guys for this event. Michael told me this morning that he is expecting over 100 falconers with 40 plus birds to attend. \nThe headquarters this year will be “The Shed” in Camden. Located at the intersection of Hwy 10/28\, 5 miles east of Camden. They will hunt Thursday then have a Meet & Greet at The Shed. The falconers will have their birds on display and answer any question the public might have about the sport. \nAfter the Friday hunt\, Lauren McGough will speak on Eagle Falconry and The Falconry fund Project. Jeff Fincher will also speak on Red-tail Hawking and his recent trip to Africa. Chili will also be served on Friday. \nAfter morning hunt Saturday\, pizza lunch at The Shed\, afternoon hunt\, there will be the Annual Banquet/Raffle.
