Learn about the people of east Wilcox County by touring their homes, churches, schools and other historic sites located in the towns of Furman, Snow Hill, Pine Apple and Oak Hill. Furman, Pine Apple and Oak Hill were designated National Historic Districts in 1999.
In preparation for the Tour of Homes on March 27th, the Wilcox Historical Society will host a Community Clean up day on March 20th from 8-11 am. Please meet at the Pecan on Broad for supplies and instructions.
Join us in downtown Camden, AL for Christmas fun and festivities! Local shops will be open and dozens of vendors will line the streets. Santa will be there and we'll have food and local entertainment as well. Contact the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce for more information or to be a vendor.
